Abstract

My book, The Edge of the Skytells the story of the All-There-Is (the Universe) as seen through the eyes of a Student-Woman (a female scientist) spending a night of solitude with Big-Seer (a giant telescope), trying to unlock the mystery of dark matter. All of this using only the most common 1,000 words in English. In this paper I reflect back on why and how Ichose this format and I present the lessons I learnt in trying to explain the entire All-There-Is this way.
